Always a great cut He's the only barber in town that took the time to learn by name. Great and friendly atmosphere. Coffee and conversation for patrons along with the best guys barbershop quality hair cut in town. Every visit has been pleasant. Well worth the cost of a cut.
Barber Shop On Grand Avenue there is a barber shop with a parrot. His name is Blackjack. He has been a resident there for some 12 years. I heard a cell phone ring, at least I thought, but no cell phone. Blackjack can make any sound that he hears. Blackjack has lived there for 12 years, but goes home with the owner at night. The other very interesting thing here is, the collection of license plates, signs and antiques. Andy's Barber Shop Andy's Old Fashioned Barber Shop is located in the downtown district of Escondido. The name fits it well as it really is an "old fashioned kind of place. Andy does all the cutting and has been a fixture downtown since before it underwent it's revitalization. He has the place decorated with baseball caps from all over the country and has vintage barber chairs and barber items as well. A regular haircut cost $14.
