Very positive! In fact, the whole team was incredibly professional, friendly and encouraging. Each one introduced him/herself with a smile and said "I'm going to take care of you today." Just a small personal touch but so very much appreciated. Dr. Thanjan spoke to me before and after the procedure, and called a few days later. I was grateful for his professional care and concern and will confidently return to him!
I highly recommend Dr. Thanjan. He treats my entire family including my mother. He is top notch. Polite, a good listener, caring, knowledgeable and everything you would want in your GI physician. I trust his judgment 100%.
Excellent provider. Was very informative on different ways to relieve symptoms and improve healthy eating style. Gave information on things I never existed. I didnt feel judged or embarrassed, felt like a was in the hands of a trusted individual. Dr. Thanjan also gave me options on how I wanted to move forwarded as well as his professional opinion on what would be the best possible option. The office staff were very kind and courteous and showed me they care. I will def return. Thank you all for a pleasant experience
Dr. Thanjan was extremely professional. He answered all my questions before my test. Then, he thoroughly explained the results to my husband after the procedure. I feel confident discussing my concerns with him.
Would not even leave his office to consult with me, and sent William Warren in to talk over my questions condescendingly. Second opinions say his advice was incorrect and his invasive procedure recommendation was completely unnecessary.
His associates were treating me while I was in the hospital. Apparently he only goes to St. Mary's. About two weeks after being discharged I got a letter from Dr. Tanjan discharging me as a patient because he couldn't get in contact with me and I missed an appointment (while being hospitalized) I immediately called to speak to his nurse who wouldn't talk to me because I was no longer a patient and I left (5) Five messages for the office manager to call me back.
I would highly recommend Dr. Thanjan to anyone. I had to have procedures that was really scared to have done and Dr. Thanjan put my mind at ease. He spent quite a bit of time with me every time I went in and thanks to him I was able to successfully treat the issues that I had. He has a great bedside manner and is genuinely caring and concerned.
Dr. Thanjan is a very approachable guy with excellent credentials. It makes me sad to see someone denigrate him just because they had to wait He is always busy taking care of patients and sometimes handling emergencies.. He has an immense knowledge of GI issues and is always prepared and well-versed in my case He has taken excellent care of me and identified issues that passed over other doctors' knowledge base and improved my overall quality of life! I definitely recommend him.
Dr. Thanjan was very helpful and also very patient when I asked questions following a family member's endoscopy. He explained everything and was incredibly courteous; I have trust in his view of the problem because he took time to answer my follow-up questions. The entire staff at St. Mary's was also wonderful - from the helpful desk staff to the awesome recovery nurses.
