I would like to give a big shout out to the employees of Androsccoggin Home Care...The nurses that have come in to my home for the past nine weeks to take care of my wound dressing/vac machine have been "TOP NOTCH"!! I have learned a lot about wound care and also diabetes..Thank you to ALL that have taken such good care of me. However, I do hope that Monday will be it. Anyone reading this post,, please share in hopes that it makes it back to at least one of the staff that has taken care of me. Thank you.. Like
While it was so hard to lose my mom last night, it couldn't have been at a more beautiful place and with such a wonderful staff. Thank you for welcoming us into your "home" and making it a pleasant stay. We are so grateful for all you have done.
I myself and my 2 sisters spent 3 weeks there with our mother when she was at end stage colon cancer. The employees where wonderful and didn't mind if we had ?s or needed anything for mom. It is a very peaceful place where you yourself can rest easy knowing that you can be there with your loved one. The quiet room is rounded with the most of doors I've ever seen. My mom was there for a very short time, the staff was beautiful. They helped her but most of all, helped my siblings & I.. The greatest gift for me was one staff member said" no one can be here 24/7 so try to make sure that if she passes when your not here that you are happy with your last visit.
Phenomenal PEACE and ultimate CARE. This only begins to describe our experience at the Hospice House where we watched our dad die with the greatest medical attention, comfort, and dignity. The doctor and staff cared for each of us too, no questions asked. Everyone who walks through the doors gets full-service blessings.
I can't thank all of the nurses who took care of my mom for the last couple of months. She bonded with a lot of you and you took such good care of her. And when it was time to move her to the Hospice house, the nurse that came out that night was incredible. The nurses when we got to the hospice house that helped guide us through moms last stages of life was so compassionate for mom and us as a family. Just the very best care was given my sister during her stay up until the end. I came in one day one of the lady's had painted her nail while she sat with my sister so she wasn't alone until I got there. The staff and Doctor were there for my sister plus the people that give there time were also there for her. I can't thank them enough for making this time in my sisters life as easy and pleasant as they could.
