I am a former patient of Dr. Reisner and I can not begin to tell you how wonderful he is! I was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus shortly after birth and he cared for me from 8 years old all the way until I was 20. I am now about to be 23 years old and graduating college. If only he could be my neurosurgeon forever! I am forever grateful for being his patient for so many years!
Like many of the other reviewers I can start by saying Dr Andrew Reisner, and his team, saved my son's life. He was identified with hydrocephalus at age 13. He had no symptoms before it was caught starting with an eye exam. We are 8 months past surgery and have had two good MRIs. "Perfect Result for the procedure" are good words to hear from your child's neurosurgeon. Awesome temperament, very approachable, makes the terrifying less so. Dr. Reisner literally saved our child's life. His surgical skill is second to none, and his ability to relate to both parents and children is incredible. We are forever grateful to Dr. Reisner and his team. He has to be one of the top pediatric neurosurgeons in the US, if not globally. You'd never want your child to have to have the kind of surgery he performs, but if you do, you want Dr. Reisner handling it.
He was a godsend after dealing with the butchers for MCG. He was tirelessly devoted to our daughter, precise, and skillful. He included us in all the developments and took the time to get to know us as people as well. He really cares about your children as well as the staff that supports them. Our nurses would gush over his bedside manner and professionalism. I wish we had come directly to CHOA instead of CHOG. We learned so much through Dr. Reisner and we will always be in debt to him.
Dr. Reisner performed craniosynostosis surgery on my son last May. He is the most professional, knowledgeable, and caring doctor I have ever met. My son's head looks amazing.
