Dr. Oshiro was incredibly condescending and disrespectful when it came to my wishes in regards to my child. I had previously asked if my beliefs would be a problem and the staff told me they wouldn't be a problem, apparently, this was not true. I have seen many different pediatric doctors for my child and none have seemed to care less about my opinions or wishes in regards to the health and safety of my child than Dr. Oshiro

I am a pediatric specialist and have known Dr. Oshiro and seen him work for 15 years. I have the utmost respect and admiration for him. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and caring. I even recommended my physician colleagues to take their children to see him. Some of the negative comments seem unjustified. Try to understand that Dr. Oshiro makes recommendations based on his extensive experience and medical knowledge, in the best interest of the patients, and not get offended if they differ from what you expect. Some complain... read more

Dr was behind schedule for an hour despite we arrived early. It's hard to keep infant waiting when dr don't keep their schedule. No one apologized. When we try to complain to the dr, instead of seeing the kids, he want to talk to the nurse and find out who told us what. It was not the time to do that. Our infant missed their feeding schdule for an hour. The office is dirty. The fan is covered with dust. I can't believe it is an pefiatrician's office. I would not recommend this place for anyone

Business response:

I am sorry you had to wait an hour. It is rare for our patients to have to wait that long. Arriving early does not mean that you will be seen earlier. If you have an 1030 appointment and arrive at 930, we will see the 945 appointment before we see you since they have an earlier appointment time. When you complained, I tried to find out what happened. I thought since you mentioned it, you wanted to know what happened. The fan was dirty. Thanks for letting me know.

Great doctor, really knows what he is doing. He listens to your concerns, answer questions in details, and when we call his office with more questions AFTER the visit, he DID call us back to discuss my son's situation--and he remembered my son's name. Also love Noel, the practitioner in the office. the only thing I HATE about his clinic is the front desk lady----extremely rude, arrogant, no patience, treat us like we owe her a million I really wish she is fired. Another thing, although his office does return the calls, it's ... read more
