I'm a neuromuscular patient who was suggested a steroid injection in my back by 4 different doctors for both reasons of pain, as well as a diagnostic to differentiate these issues from the neuromuscular issues in my legs, and was eventually referred to this doctor for treatment. This doctor proceeds to tell me that I would need to do PT in order to get it, but when I say okay, he then pauses for a long time, and starts to tell me that I would also need to do 30 days of in-patient PT, where I would stay at a facility.
