I'm a neuromuscular patient who was suggested a steroid injection in my back by 4 different doctors for both reasons of pain, as well as a diagnostic to differentiate these issues from the neuromuscular issues in my legs, and was eventually referred to this doctor for treatment. This doctor proceeds to tell me that I would need to do PT in order to get it, but when I say okay, he then pauses for a long time, and starts to tell me that I would also need to do 30 days of in-patient PT, where I would stay at a facility. My kiddo and I have been with him for a few years now. Dr. Olsen never makes you feel like you are just a paycheck. He makes you feel seen and heard and does his best to make a plan that fits your needs, financially and physically. I would recommend him to everyone who is in need of a pain management doctor that actually listens.
