I have been able to return to all activities except putting on my socks!
I had my second hip replacement done by Dr. Cooperman, (my first hip replacement was done by another surgeon who is retired now)I will tell you Dr.Cooperman takes the time to explain and has great bedside manners. He knows what he’s doing. Having a hip replacement is a big decision, and I always felt at ease with Dr. Cooperman
Dr. Cooperman performed a total hip replacement on me. During appointments both before and after my surgery, he spent an incredible amount of time explaining the procedure and recovery to me. He took the time to make sure that I completely understood the process, what he would be doing, and what I needed to do to make my surgery a success. He was simply amazing at every visit and the surgery came out better than I thought possible.
Originally assigned to a young surgeon with whom no matter what I said . . . we could never agree or connect. My rheumatologist of 20+ years, the late Dr. Howard Kaye in discussion with me volunteered to refer me to his personal friend Dr. Cooperman. Now I was finally on a path toward being able to use my legs and walk once again. Dr. Cooperman explained everything thoroughly and completely as he guided me toward my surgery date. All went as planned and smoothly. Now three months after surgery by the grace of God I can walk ... read more
Dr. Cooperman does not only do the surgery, but his process also prepares you for it then rehab's you back to a normal post-surgery. Within a couple months after surgery I was back being physically active. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Cooperman and his team.
Dr. Coopeman did my right knee in 2014. He was my SECOND opinion after the first surgeon did an orthoscopic on me that was ABSOLUTELY useless. I had NO meniscus to repair. I was bone on bone so orthoscopic was a waste on me. From the first, Dr. Cooperman knew what needed to be done and I was on my way to getting a total knee replacement. At my five year check up, my replaced knee is going strong but my left may need to be done. Hopefully, Dr. Cooperman will be the one to do my left knee also.
Dr. Cooperman in two words: compassionate and professional. He takes time to explain everything. He is very professional in a way that shows confidence, not arrogance, and does it in a caring way. With Dr. Cooperman you know you’re in good hands with a doctor who cares about you.
This guy is so bad and he has the worst bedside manner. I wouldn't let him cut on me or any of my family members. Get a second opinion. You will be glad that you did. If you like arrogant Dr's and one to not offer hope he is your guy.
So satisfied! Would recommend to my family. I know they would be safe and cared for appropriately.
