Dr. Moyes has been my ophthalmologist for over 20 years. He and his other physicians are on the "cutting edge" of all new procedures and techniques, but they have a devotion to their patients like the family doctors of years ago. I have had a complicated issue with an eye muscle since birth and they have always given me terrific care....I have had Lasik Surgery, Cataract Surgery and continuing care there and have recommended them to all friends and family. Every single time I’ve had an appointment I’ve had to wait at least 2 hours ! And one time I showed up and they had to totally reschedule. And when I tried to get info no one ever has an answer. They throw it back to someone else .. “well, that was that person . Or that desk.” They have no consideration for your time OR arrangements you’ve made for others offering a ride.
To repair retinal detachment, my father needed 3 surgeries the 3rd of which Dr. Moyes was referred to do. Dad visited in Sept. They finally submitted necessary documents to insurance in NOV. After finally getting a surgery scheduled and in the books, the office waited less than 72 working hours before calling to inform that although they had an authorization letter from insurance, they wouldn't do surgery w/o $1000 down. Seems greedy & is heartbreaking to see my dad through this. Don't recommend
Dr. Moyes is excellent. He told me this would be life changing surgery, and he was right. I am truly amazed and thoroughly satisfied with the results.
Dr. Moyes truly cares for his patients and what is best for them and their eye care. He is very thorough, informative and kind.
