I had some teeth removed and a grafting procedure done by Dr Horowitz. I was extremely disappointed with his approach to my treatment in regards to my grafting procedure.He failed to give me all the options available in how to grow my bone,never mention BMP(bone morphogenic protein)only after I found a periodontist that did this specific procedure,he told me that he would do the procedure for me,ofcourse I would have to pay at least 5000 dollars more not counting the first 5500 that I paid him for the first procedure.Dr Horo... read more
I was sceptical at 1st due to not seeing a Dentist for about 10 yrs. He immediately made me at ease by explaining in detail every step of my procedure. I can't say how releaved that made me. Very jovial and light hearted, not at all what I expected. His entire staff was wonderful, extremely professional. This is my new Dentist.
I have never had to pay anything upfront. My copay for having a tooth pulled was billed to me. $20.00 Not bad.
I went to Dr. Horowitz for 9 years when I lived in Norfolk. He knew I was scared to death and he made jokes and talked to me while he worked. He was able to rebuild teeth that cracked, had loose fillings, etc. I have recently moved to Boston, and I am extremely sad that I had to leave his practice. He is funny, sensitive, gentle, and professional. By far the best dentist I've seen.
I have been a patient of Dr. Horowitz for over 15 years - and cannot say enough excellent things about him. He is caring, brilliant, and a little bit quirky - in all the best ways - and I think he cares about my teeth (aesthetics and functionality) and my smile even more than I do! His hygienists are personable and they have been with him for a very long time, there are no surprise new people when I arrive for a cleaning. I can't imagine ever going to another dentist.
