Tooth extraction itself and the recovery period went very smoothly.
Dr. Andrew Greenberg of Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset, P.C. performed complete shoulder replacement of both of my shoulders. He is a concerned doctor who obviously is very good at what he does. I was in great pain and was loosing strength, range of motion, and everyday use of my arms was becoming very difficult. I waited too long to get help because I wasn’t aware of shoulder replacement. Dr. Andrew Greenberg is top notch! He is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon. I suffered from shoulder pain for years trying to help myself with every option out there and visits with other orthopedic surgeons. I was so lucky to have found him. He gave me back quality of life and most importantly,I am pain free! I am a registered nurse and feel very comfortable stating he is a fantastic surgeon with a great bedside manner.
My wife who had a recent knee surgery started having pain in her leg and it was at night we called, Doctor Greenberg was on call. He was upset that he had to wake up and answer our call, he also said why did you call me it is in the middle of the night, which my wife reminded him that he is the doctor on call and that is his job. Overall his attitude was negative and rude. we will not recommend him to anyone.
I had a broken finger and Dr Greenberg was referred by a friend. It is a large office with many orthopedic specialists. Check in was easy, they were punctual, xray in the office for instant results. My surgery was scheduled very timely, I had no complications and great follow up. I felt very comfortable asking him any questions I had and he always answered.
There are doctors who listen and doctors who hear; Dr Greenberg does both. He is a smart, savvy up to the minute orthopedist who doesn’t waste time with unnecessary treatments. He listens & he hears! I trust him to provide great medical care with my best interests in mind. He also doesn’t suggest that women should “get a hobby” like so many doctors presented with a not so obvious problem. Dr. Greenberg operated on my partially torn rotator cuff, bone spurs and removed a great deal of arthritis. I found him to be exceptionally caring and willing to listen to all my questions and concerns and answer them in a way in which I totally understood what he was saying. We discussed my options pre and post surgery and he took my wants into consideration and we made a plan based on that.
Dr Greenberg repaired my torn rotator cuff in 2018. I started PT at OAM soon after surgery and was able to complete the PT within 4 mos (rather than the expected 6 mos!). I have full range of motion and absolutely no pain in that shoulder now. Dr Greenberg did an excellent job. He also surgically repaired my daughters broken wrist several years ago and she has no recurrent pain. I’m very pleased with the treatment provided by Dr Greenberg. If you are looking for a perfect surgeon for your arm, look no further. Dr. Greenberg is perfect in every way. He is not an alarmist and I was shocked to see how fast I heeled after needing plates and screws to get my elbow back in place after falling on the tennis court. I had 21 staples and wore a cast for a week. I started OT the day after the cast came off and was able to bend my elbow 100°. It is now 4 weeks later and I am completely healed.
