My husband saw Dr. Shorr's team at Washington Hospital Center ER after the onset of a life threatening respiratory condition. His office said they would call to schedule a follow up to take place within 7 days but they never called; he was finally able to make an appointment, but Dr. Shorr canceled it 2 times, pushing the appointment out more than 4 weeks. After the visit, I felt he didn’t really listen, didn’t outline any next steps for my symptoms, and left me dealing with them on my own. Years later, I noticed his visit notes in the MedStar portal stated that he had discussed further diagnostic steps, which didn't happen at all. Not sure I was taken seriously..
Staff not very Friendly.
It is very hard to get an appointment with Dr Shorr. Dr. Shorr service is in a big demand. Dr Shorr breaks down the Pulmonary lab reports in basic language term that you can understand.
