Dr. Fahmy is great ! Very patient great listener makes you feel comfortable . Answers your questions with compassion and directness . Doesn’t order unnecessary tests . He gets a 10 in my book
General check up on a-fib
I love Dr. Fahmy! I wish he could be my primary care doctor! I was originally referred to him through the ER. He always seems genuinely concerned and doesn't downplay my concerns. I have other health issues as well and he always asks how I am doing with those issues. I would definetly recommend him as a cardiologist.
I was traveling through Ohio when I ended up with an ER visit and emergency admission to a local hospital who provided a bizarrely erroneous evaluation and treatment plan. A timely referral for Dr. Fahmy's second opinion saved me from egregious treatment and unnecessary surgical procedure from another provider. "I'm a cath guy," he says, "But you don't need one." Test test, referral back to my home cardiologist: boom, I'm done... and very grateful.
I have been taking my mother to Dr. Fahmy for several years now and can not rate him high enough. His kindness and patience with my mother is so comforting and he is truly down on the patient level. He never uses terms without thoroughly explaining everything in a manner both my mother and I can understand. He treats us like friends not just clients. He never ever makes us feel rushed and listens very carefully and patiently to all her questions and concerns.
He was wonderful like talking to a real person
