I have had hip replacement surgery and total right knee replacement by Dr. Dold. I have, and will continue to recommend him to all my family and friends. Dr. Dold is very compassionate, attentive, and understanding of my previous health needs. His staff are always courteous. Dr. Dold and Star Orthopedics is definitely the way to go!
Dr. Dold is an amazing surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery. My outcome was better than I’d even hoped for. I’ve got full range of motion back within 6 weeks! Dr Dold did rotator cuff surgery for me. He and his staff were friendly and professional every step of the way. If you’re an older active person and want to get back at it Dr Dold will make it happen!
I had AVN (Avascular necrosis) of the right hip and didn’t know anything about AVN or the medical procedure. I researched AVN and began to look for a surgeon/doctor to fix it. I have worked with 6 different hip doctors in DFW over the past 2 years, dealing with Torn Labrum in each hip. My first procedure was not done by Dr. Dold- I was unable to walk without crutches/pain for almost 6 months post-op. I was scared to have another procedure, however Dr Dold repaired my Right Hip 3 weeks ago and I am amazed at how well the procedure went! I had a pretty nasty displaced radius fracture and Dr. Dold had me patched up and back to my normal life much faster than I expected. The scar from the surgery is tiny and I expect it to be barely visible as it fades. Everyone is very friendly and supportive.
A year ago, while playing ultimate frisbee, I ruptured my achilles. The first doctor I saw said surgery was necessary & wanted to squeeze me into his schedule because it'd be easier for him (his words). I spoke with the second doctor's nurse over the phone, who told me she'd also want to do surgery. Our family has known Dr. Dold and his staff for well over 10 years and he is the only Orthopedic Surgeon we trust with our ailments. From Hockey, to cheerleading to my wife and I as we try to remain fit and push it a little too hard, Dr. Dold and his staff are the most courteous, science methodically driven, orthopedic group around. I can’t thank Dr Dold enough. After my labrum surgery in Aug 2022 preformed by another Dr in the area…my pain was worse 6 mo post surgery then it was before …and at 45 years old I was told a full hip replacement was my next option.
