Great Doctor and staff.
My wife, Elaine has had G.I. problems for quite some time, only recently we found out it was IBS. Thanks to Dr. Schmidt‘s staff, I was able to get Elaine in to see Dr. Schmidt the very same day. I called early in the morning and an appointment was made at 2 o’clock. Dr. Schmidt was extremely professional and spent at least 45 minutes going over everything to help Elaine. After my husband’s previous gastro Dr left, we were blessed to find Dr. Schmidt. His staff, as well as all at the Surgery Center are kind & professional. Dr. Schmidt and all Nurses and Doctors and Front desk at the Health First Surgery Center were Awsome! Took great care of me for my Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. God's Peace to you all!
I waited two months to see Doctor Schmidt. The day before my appointment I called to confirm my appointment. They dident answer so I left a message. The office called me back to say that I had canceled my appointment because I had found a different GI MD. I called back confused because I had never heard the the MD they mentioned. When I told them this, the office staff tried to gaslight me and tell me that I NEVER had an appointment with them. What a waste of time.
