Rude staff (rude to everyone in the waiting room, not just me). The doctor didn't look at the documents I brought (reports from a previous provider), his assistant took a 2-second look, pretending to read, but unless he has superpowers, there's no way he read anything. I was in the room with the doctor for about a minute. He barely looked at me, and made me feel like he was throwing me out of the room when he was done. His assistant grabbed my arm and led me out of the room! This was an extremely unpleasant and useless visit... read more

I had a torn Meniscus and in pain for 3 years , very hard to walk . After a MRI Dr. Spitzfaden called me with the results and gave me the option of Cortisone injection or surgery . I opted for surgery because cortisone doesn’t last . After surgery I had no pain only swelling . He explained about the healing process and answered all my questions . Dr Spitz has seen my son on multiple occasions for all sorts of sports related ailments. He’s always works to get him in and we couldn’t be more happier with him.

I had been treated by another doctor for 6 months - torn Meniscus and fractured tibia. Decided to get second opinion, Dr. S looked at x-rays and said I think your diagnosis is wrong. Suggested cleaning out joint or getting cortisone shot. Asked his suggestion, got cortisone shot and within 2 days was no longer limping. This was 7 months ago and no pain or problem since! LOVE THE MAN!

I made appt for wrist fracture per referral of adjoining hospital ER. Arrived to find out they didn't accept my insurance. (Their error for not asking.) I paid outright for the doc visit. Practice ate brace expense. Doc was kind and understood my situation related to insurance/OOP expenses. No complaints. Wanda at the front desk is an absolute angel on earth.

Dr. Spitzfadden spend time explaining what my problem was and my options for treatment. Very knowledgeable and fruendly. I would highly recommended him. He is going to treat me for a torn rotator cuff. I had numerous questions and he answered them all .

Intelligent. Knows what he is doing. No bedside manner and somewhat condescending.
