Zero Bedside Manner. Offended by everything I said. My PT said I shouldn't continue sessions until I get checked out by an Ortho specialist and that I should really ask to get an MRI before continuing PT. Dr Richardson said I needed to fail PT 12 times before getting an MRI and was extremely offended that I even asked for one or that the PT said I should advocate for one. I have no idea whether Dr. Richardson is a good surgeon because he did not operate on me. I write this review because Dr. Richardson did not give me informed consent when he gave me a steroid injection. Six months ago I met with Dr. Richardson once for consultation about hip replacement surgery. The meeting lasted less than ten minutes as Dr. Richardson rushed back and forth between me and another patient in the room next door. After having knee replacement surgery 2 years ago, I am able to do everything I once could. My recovery was quick due to a good surgery and relentless physical therapy. I have and would recommend Dr. Richardson for your orthopedic needs. He's not just looking g to do surgery, but try other options first. I was able to wait 4 years due to injections he recommended.
I had a perfect experience with Dr. Richardson guiding me through my 2nd hip replacement. He answered every question, and ensured all pre-op preparations were followed to prevent any chance of infection, that could be done at home. His hospital visits were often and informative. I am recommending his services to anyone who needs hip replacement.
