I originally went in to have my niece injected. Jason, his PA does a great job. At that same time I also mentioned my shoulder pain. He injected my shoulder and then sent me down for an x-ray. On my next visit I had done some thing And had extreme pain on my shoulder. He sent me for an MRI where they saw that I had indeed torn my rotator cuff and my deltoid muscle. I was scheduled for surgery promptly. Dr. Assenmacher explained the whole procedure very well and the surgery went great. I had very little pain after surgery , a... read more

I don’t think Dr’s realize the impact they can have on people’s lives . I am a massage therapist of 17 years and I worked with shoulder and neck pain, and terrible headaches for 12 years . I missed a lot of days because of the headaches . Dr Assenmacher did my shoulder surgery. This surgery changed my life ! I had zero pain after my surgery - well not zero, but nothing like the pain that I had been dealing with for so long . I had surgery pain , that’s it. Most importantly, I don’t have the headaches anymore ! I am so very t... read more

My son suffered a posterior sternoclavicular dislocation in November of 2020. Dr. Assenmacher developed a clear plan for repair and recovery, as this was a rare but significant injury that would require an extensive repair and long recovery time. During recovery, Dr. Assenmacher kept us informed of the next steps and what to expect as our son recovered. I'm glad to say our son is fully recovered from this severe injury and can now continue to enjoy the things he loves doing with no limitation. Thank you, Dr.!!

Dr. Assenmacher is the BEST! I am a 65 year old female...I fell and needed to have a total reverse shoulder replacement...I have had ZERO pain from the moment I woke up from surgery and I am almost six months post-surgery and still have no pain! He is so patient and explains things so well...I would give him a 10 star rating if I could! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I am a 79 year old female and had injured my shoulder 8 years ago. I had medal placed in my shoulder with lots of screws and have endured pain every since the original surgery. Last summer I had swelling and developed a sack of drainage plus a open wound of drainage. Seeing Dr. Assenmacher in July, 2020 he diagnosed all the issues in my arm and was confident he could repair them and was quick in scheduling surgery. He did a absolutely fantastic procedure to remove all of that, then recovering at home with a 6 week anti... read more

I was injured in early 2020. No Doctor able to help me even with MRI's and I was about to give up and face reality that I'd have to learn to live like this with little function out of my dominant arm. Thanks to Dr. Andrew my surgery took place at the end of the year shortly after I initially seen him and I'm still in recovery but I have gotten back more motion than anyone had thought and the pain has went from a 10 to a 3 in just a matter of weeks. I don't know how I will ever be able to repay him for helping me get back clo... read more

Great results, excellent pre/post-op plan & patience to provide good answers to my numerous questions so that I was comfortable with every phase of the process. Repaired retracted Supraspinatus, distal biceps tendon tear and ball/socket arthritis. 6 months later I’m hitting the heavy and speed bags and my shoulder is feeling better than pre-injury. Thankful to Dr. Andrew Assenmacher for allowing me to continue my active life, with minimum delay possible, that’s been important throughout my 57 years.
