Dr. Kim is one of my go-to referrals in DFW for Psychiatry, particularly in my specialty of OCD and Anxiety Disorders. She works with excellence in our shared cases and presents competently, relationally, and makes herself accessible. 5 Stars.
I've known Dr. Kim for a number of years. She's the psychiatrist I most often recommend for my clients, friends, and family. I refer to her for a number of reasons. First, she's a good listener. She gets to know people and asks the important questions that some doctors might skip over. She also listens when a client tells her they just don't "feel right" on a certain medication. My husband is bipolar and is taking Zoloft and no other meds. Dr. Kim’s office staff ( the lady who answers the phone) is very unprofessional and was unwilling to schedule an appointment without a referral. For $445 cash price you should be able to see someone without a referral. That is a total rip off and poor example of someone who is supposed to be helping people. Dr. Kim helped my husband get on the right meds for his bipolar at the right dosage. 6 months after starting to see Dr. Kim, he was like a new man, the man I used to know and love.
