Excellent doc. I am very happy with his care and it is comforting to know he’s there if I need him. Takes time with his patients and knows them, which is rare these days.

Excellent rapport. Spends time speaking with patient so he can fully understand the medical issue. Reviews previous lab history and notes and discusses changes in values. Reviews all medications and their effectiveness. Very comprehensive and thorough assessment.
Dr Lopez never rushes me through my appointments. He always listens to my questions and asks if he answered them to my satisfaction. He makes suggestions and discusses different options. I often contact the group through the messaging portal. Response time is fast. I have used the online medical visit as well with very positive results. I have recommended Dr Lopez to friends. Buffalo Medical Group as a whole is a very sooth running office. Never a wait.
I have only good experiences with Dr. Lopez. Even when my insurance changed, and he became out of network, I continued to see him. When offering advice to get in shape, he did so in a non-judgmental way, while acknowledging that it's difficult. His bedside manor is great.
Dr.Lopez takes his time treating his patients.. He has always been recepted and knowledgeable. Before I changed my last doctor i'd asked many friends,nurses, and peers for references and feedback.. Dr. Lopez's name always came up.I have never had a problem with any medical decision.
He is an OK doctor but always runs so late. I had the third appointment of the day and the nurse said he was already running 20 minutes late? How can that be possible???? Our time is just as important as his. I hate waiting in a tiny office in a paper gown for 20 to 25 mins every single time I see him. And then when he finally comes in he talks to me for three minutes and we are done. Not all that impressed.
