Went to take aluminum cans-we waited 30 minutes in line and then it took another 10 minutes to get them out of the bags and weighed. Then I had to go into the office and get another receipt and then go to a little ATM like building to get the cash. So unorganized and a lot to do just to get rid of aluminum cans! The worst thing was they only give you cash in whole dollar amounts and they always round down. So I didnt get my .$81 change. How ridiculous and what a rip off!! Very disappointing experience and customer service We went to Andersen’s Sales & Salvage in Greeley to sell some copper. One of the employees told us that because my vehicle tags were expired, they could not accept the copper because of “state law.” I was trying to show him my documentation and understand exactly what requirement I wasn’t meeting. First time experience. I’m a mechanic and had a ton of extra scrap metal. I called about 12 different places to ask the “price per pound” and decided this location was the best price for the distance from me. The scale attendant was kind enough to explain to me exactly where to drive, where to stop, and where to come back. I pulled to the pile and as I was lifting bins worth of extremely heavy Rotors into the pile- an employee on a forklift came up and said “do you want a popsicle?” Hell. Yes. I want a popsicle. I stopped by for an intercooler about two weeks ago; an older guy rang me up, but he seemed totally bored with it and charged me for every single screw and anything else he laid eyes on. I ended up paying around $180 for an intercooler and two incomplete pipes! Other times, I’ve gotten more stuff for less money from the other guys there.
