Worst exam experience ever! I had an appointment on June 19 and purchased two pairs of eyeglasses. One was paid by my insurance, I paid for the other. I moved out of state and was told shipping wouldn't be an issue. Complete incompetence and empathy from both Anderson and UPS. Many errors from both. Long story shorter, I've only received one pair of glasses (the ones my insurance covered). Mary (management), tried to convince me that I needed to wait until a UPS claim was filed. my mother had an appointment for 10:20 am. we arrived at 10:10. she wasn’t called back until 11:20. she then waited in the back waiting area another 60 minutes before being seen. well, 3 hours later and finally finished. this is a typical experience when you go to a facility that has a ‘production line’ type of service.
Got me in right away for an eye problem my original eye dr didn’t want to address. Super friendly staff. Dr Van Horn listened to what I had to say and very much seemed to want to help resolve the issue I am experiencing.
I got new glasses and new frames in January of 24 in March of 24 because I could not see out of those glasses, then in July another prescription for glasses I cannot see out of these glasses at all, sew in May of 25 I had another exam and a new prescription. My doctor, Donahue, God gave me a new prescription and went downstairs to the glass place and my doctor has said to rework. I have had the best experience there. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Dr. Adam VanHorn, M.D. is exceptional. Makes you feel at ease and explains everything so well. Great place.
