Birth Cowboys – While I agree with other reviewers that the midwives at Andaluz are very empathetic and obviously love their jobs, also that their consultation rooms are very comfy and reassuring, I found their competence and capacity to act as safe practitioners for the delivery of my child to be completely unsatisfactory. Best Natural Birth center in the Portland/Metro Area – Pros: Andaluz has everything a hospital lacks, (ei. warmth, time, loving care, etc. the list goes on and on) Cons: I miss them, must be why I keep having more babies :P I had one hospital birth experience with my first baby at St Vincents.
