I've had two back surgeries that were performed by Dr. Bernard and the results were amazing. Dr. Bernard and his staff from the first time we met were concerned about my well-being. Dr. Le (Lucy) He is an exceptional Neurosurgeon and is patient centered in her approach. Dr. He successfully removed a malignant tumor from my brain last year and the procedure was considered a full resection. All of my pre-surgical symptoms vanished and have not returned. I’ve continued my follow-on oncology care with my oncology team (which includes Dr. He). Dr. He has been essential in managing my post operation care. A year ago today I went in for surgery to remove the massive herniated L5/S1. Last year I couldn't walk without pain or pick anything up without pain. Last night I was throwing our kids around on our bed hearing them both belly laughing. I can't thank Dr Rosenbaum at Anchorage Neurosurgical Associates enough. Changed my life!!!

This is my second major surgery in a year- neck then lower back. Dr. Kralick and Kasey TemplePA-C, both listened to my concerns and reasons I felt surgery was needed, even after I had steroid injections and Physical Therapy. I had several positive interactions with Rachel and Mindy, the nurses for Dr. Kralick. I appreciated Dr. Kralick seeing me on my initial visits to the office and pre-op and six weeks post-op. I would highly recommend Alaska Neurosurgical Associates🍀
Dr. Bales is a wonderful neurosurgeon with the ethics of care and professionalism. His staff is consistently warm and welcoming, who also gets the messages to the physicians in a timely manner, and with remarkable follow through. I am thankful for this team! I have had three back surgeries and have been met with kindness and with it ness!
