I have two separate thoughts... one about Anchor and the homeowner, and another about the manager I worked with. Anchor isn’t the worst property company, but I wouldn’t recommend them. We signed our lease in September 2024 because we didn’t have many options for a quick move, and the home was disappointing from day one. The company has been really easy to work with and they were able to find tenants relatively quickly, I've only worked with them for a few months but currently I am extremely happy with them.

Unfortunately, it seems the property management side of Anchor lacks effective communication and follow-through when it comes to resolving issues. The service was completed on August 26th, and we are now just two days shy of waiting two months to be paid, with no communication on when payment will be received. It should not take several weeks to locate a missing check for a vendor. We move in two days, so instead of being able to pick up the check in person, I will now have to wait for it to be mailed. Don’t start an application unless 100% sure will be charged a fee of $75 as it was required to provide payment info before finishing half of the application. Never submitted the application and was refused a refund. Not a way to run a business! Application was halted as they don't disclose monthly pet fee on top of deposit or any other information until after you are required to provide payment at step 7/8 of the 12-step application process.
