Great food!!! I've never had a double cheeseburger topped with jalapeño cream cheese and BBQ sauce. Until now! Incredible flavor and fantastic fries! HUGE beer selection and entertaining bartender. I'll certainly be back soon.
Like always the food was great we sat outside right under a hornet trap for almost an hour then the minute our food showed up some fuckin rude woman came over to the table to empty the trap we asked her if she was going to mess with it right now she said she was if I wasent so hungry I would have walked out but we switched tables and ate our food sorry to say I am not going back there should be some health code against playing with bugs around food you just served me
I went there with my dad and my brothers,my stepmother , my sister law. I had the cashew cheese burger! It was so good I want to go back someday! Tiny little hole in a wall but it was the best burger I had in a long time!
Food was PHENOMENAL!! Service excellent, awesome down to earth folks working their tails off to make their customers happy! I wish I could give this 10 stars! Thank you everyone who made out visit enjoyable, we will be back for sure!!!
Anchor Bar is a local bar and grill in the dive bar tradition. Locals clearly like this place, as it was full when arrived and full when we left. It's burger main plate fare is excellent, juicy and homemade. For just 4.75 a juicy massive cheeseburger is made to order. My own plate of 2/3 Lb double "Anchor Burger" was just 6.75 and included a huge side of fresh cut fries. The food was as billed by the locals.. excellent. Great burgers and fries!!! Affordable and nice dive atmosphere! Quick in and out too!
Bartenders can be a little crabby ,food is awesome and cheap .
