Group of 4 went in on a sunday,all are burgers were way over done like black on both sides ,fries were over cooked also,one person told waitress it was burnt brought it back to kitchen cook was rude heard him say its better than being raw,well 2nd burger wasnt any better it wss burnt also...maybe try turning grill down little bit..wont be back for another couple years..
Best Burger anywhere.... Have a bloody Mary too...
If you want awesome gritty atmosphere, great burgers, real fries made right, plenty of beer options, great service, and all at a reasonable price, Anchor Bar is the place! I had the "Anchor" burger, fantastic and could barely finish! This is now a must stop on our way up the North Shore!
As always, a mouth watering experience. I love the midweek, midday crowd.

2nd time they messed up my order for my burger I ordered Mexican burger got the Swiss and mushroom the first time this time ordered Mexican again and I got the California burger. Beyond pissed right now bc the other two who got the order for pick up with me tonight their orders were perfect.
Took my wife to lunch yesterday, she hadn't been there before. Great burgers and beer. Service was excellent, contrary to what has been a common misnomer. Cool throwback atmosphere. A must place to eat!!
Omg....where do I start? Born & bred Superorite.....Twin Cities transplant. Have been here many times and NEVER disappointed �. Just brought 6 people here for fabulous food & drink, absolutely phenomenal environment, full of history, family and spent $53 plus a gargantuan tip....life doesnt get any better!
The Anchor was a refreshing change from the average, over priced Bar/Grill establishments in the area. The motif is pretty cool and as an old Navy guy, I loved it! My sons reside over in Superior and this is their water hole! Definitely will be back!
