DO NOT GO HERE! They are ill equipped, negligent, and all about the $$. If you have a late stage cancer they do NOT try and help you like other cancer centers do. They wont give you nutritionists, or IV fluids, they immediately shame your natural ways of fighting, Dr Seastone is a JOKE. I wouldn't go to him if he was the last oncologist on this planet. My father was dying in the hospital and all he cared about was getting another treatment set up. GO TO CLEVELAND CLINIC, MAYO CLINIC, MD ANDERSON, anywhere BUT HERE.
When I was diagnosed MANY years ago with CLL, I went to Hillman and after a few visits, I KNEW that doctor was on an ego trip and certainly not interested in. I began searching for the foremost authority on my disease and found him at The Ohio State. Dr. John Byrd. I followed him to U. Cincinnati and now back to UPMC. Words cannot express m sentiments about this humble, brilliant man. He truly cares about people. I often tell him, I will follow him to the moon and I mean it.
