The microwave had been recently used, hair on the bathroom floor and beds, the man in the office would glare and stare at you if you used the ice machine and worst of all the tub faucet fell off the shower. We call to ask for a new room since we're just tired and don't want to fight a tun. The manager comes up and tries the shower and the faucet is staying because we stuck it back on. He says "here now you can use the shower see there's nothing wrong with it" we tell him its whatever and say we just won't shower. He then goe... read more
Fantastic value for the price. This motel is classic St. Augustine well-maintained, perfectly clean, and wonderfully quiet despite being so close to the historic sites and beach. Don't let the "older" label fool you, they take great care of this place. Highly recommend for travelers who prefer a low-key, friendly atmosphere over a massive resort.
2nd year in a row here. Not fancy but clean and gets the job done. Close to everything as well.
