Absolutely the Best!!! – I was shocked to know that the previous review was written under my name regarding an eyebrow wax by Tamika. I absolutely did not write this review. I have been going to Albert Luis Salon & SPA for the last 4 years, and I absolutely love this Salon, every service I ever had has exceeded expectations. worst eyebrow wax – I had my eyebrows waxed by Tamika well over 6 months ago and I am still growing them out. I have lost my orginal shape and they have not grow back in as thick. As she was waxing my eyebrows i noticed hers where uneven and she waxed and styled mine the exact same shape of hers. This is supposed to be a reputable salon I have had better eye brow waxes for 1/3 of the price. I am hoping this review will spare anyone else of the same ordeal.
Liz Duran is the Best COLORIST & STYLIST EVER!!!! – As you can see by reading some of my previous salon reviews I have been to some of the "best" salons in Houston. nice place – can't rate other services, but the massage was above average.....this is a very nice and new facility, only down side is the parking...you either pay a meter or park in the garage and walk.....if you live out in the sugarland area, this is a great place to go w/o having to drive into town....i've also purchased gift certificates for family in past, and they liked it as well....
Beautiful Salon and Spa. Friendly people with great skills! – I went in on a Tuesday for the "Afternoon Delight": a massage and a facial. Both were great. Miraya, the aesthetician did my eyebrows before the facial and was very knowledgeable about products for my skin (it was very dry at the time). She provided me with non-stop attention and answered any questions I had about the process. She even gave me an awesome facial and back massage. I felt like heaven just after the facial. Kenny @ Albert Luiz – Kenny is S h i t and knows what looks Best on anyone. He does an amazing job. Very smart and genuinely kind. I would definately recommend him to anyone! I love Albert Luiz.
Staff unfriendly – I brought a wedding party to the salon and was treated like we were a nuisance to the staff. We all had our hair styled, manicures and pedicures. The pedicure staff was great, but the hair stylists were unfriendly. For the money we spent there, we should have been treated much better.
Business response:
Although there were 6 guests in for manicures and pedicures, only one of those individuals was getting her hair styled. The guests were kindly asked to wait in the front because it was a busy saturday and the salon was already very crowded. No one else received a hair service, and the guest that did get her hair done has since returned to the salon for other services as well.
A wonderful experience – I was skeptical to try a new place since I was content with my previous stylist. Boy was I glad I did...The new ME was 10 years younger...I guess my previous stylist was just use to doing the same thing with everyone, but Cindy and Gracie at Albert Luiz really took my features and my eye color into choosing the best look for me...I'm thrilled and now a loyal client
Hair Care Plus – I trust Kenny Whitehead implicitly with my hair. I have learned to trust his professional judgement about what truly flatters me and no longer walk in with preconceived ideas about what my hair needs to look like when I stand up from his chair. We talk about what is going on in my life and how much time I do or do not have for maintenance and then I let him do his job.
