It was fun but I felt bad for the contestants because the ice cream was so melted it didn't stay in a ball. It is a fun event but maybe it should be held in cooler weather. Some of those kids are amazing. We probaby didn't see their true talents. We got to witness icecrem being throw across SOCO years ago and that was cool!

The ice cream "olympics" was okay. The servers doing their scooprobatics, that was cool. The halftime show, eh. Amy's Ice Creams proper are, of course, excellent. On this night, the minions both went to Zilker Mint Chip, which was super noms (I took a few tastes). My irresistible nemesis is their dreaded Vanilla Triple Mexxx, which is bursting with vanillity. Thankfully, it is a rotation flavor, and was not available this time. But it'll be back. It WILL be back....
