She is not personable & did not take the time to do a thorough exam. She walked into the room, looked at me for 1 second and immediately diagnosed me with rosacea. When I questioned her diagnosing me by only looking at me, she said that is the gift of her profession and she also said well what do you think it is? She then ran through a few things that cause flare-ups & ran through the treatment options and was out in 2 minutes. My tip to Dr. Wood, No one wants to be treated like a number.
Dr. Wood would ONLY talk to me about my main condition, which I mentioned when I made my appointment, and said I would have to make a 2nd appointment to discuss other things. It was the end of the year, so this was not a good option given my insurance situation - nor should it have been necessary! I have never had a doctor be so rude about spending an extra few minutes with me to answer additional questions. I wish I had been told when I made the appointment how Dr. Wood operates.
Dr. Wood has treated me and my family for years and I have recommended her to many friends. She is incredibly nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. From healing poison ivy to solving mystery rashes and easing wrinkles and improving aging skin, the expertise she has provided has always been "spot on" (or should I say "spot off")!
Very pleasant experience. Entire staff was very nice.
