I'm giving Amy 5 stars but I need to see a doctor for stomach discomfort/lumps and all I'm told is to wait for a letter from the clinic saying that she will no longer be working at that location as of June 6th. Do I wait, or do I look for another clinic? This seems kind of like a brush off.

I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient. I was told by who answered the phone that she would have to approve and sign something before I could be scheduled. The first person I spoke to told me I should hear back from the clinic by lunchtime. I don't hear back, and when I called near the end of the day to follow up, a different person tells me that it may take a day or two. So, a couple of days go by and I still don't hear from anyone. At 68 I've been to a lot of doctors in my life. Amy Thomas strikes me as a particularly good one. She's very smart, caring and attentive. I feel that she knows what she's doing (unlike many doctors I've come across). Your choice of doctor can mean the difference between life or death (I've been harmed by many a doctors' mistake). Dr Amy Thomas seems like a doctor that I would want in my foxhole (as my military Dad used to say.)

Amy is a great listener. She also understands the bariatric lifestyle. I have been her patient for a few years now and have no complaints. The staff at her office are always friendly too.
