This has been one of the worst, most traumatic experiences of my life. I woke up from hysterectomy surgery Friday, July 31 in the most pain I have ever been in. I felt like someone had my internal organs in their fists and was squeezing them as hard as possible and pulling as hard as possible to rip them out of my body. In the recovery unit, I was ignored and laughed at by nurses and told I could only have ibuprofen because my doctor was dismissing me with no overnight stay after major surgery. Dr. Carroll is a caring professional who completely put me at ease before scheduling surgery. During the thorough post-op exam, she patiently listened before reassuring me again of a negative cancer prognosis.
Dr. Carroll was very thorough during my last visit. She has a wonderful bedside manner. She was recommended to me by a nurse who works in Kennestone Hospital.
Dr Carroll is compassionate and takes her time with her patients. You will never feel rushed or unheard. She addresses every issue and finds new ways to help when everything else has failed.
