Dr. Eston is a great eye doctor. She performed the cataract surgery on both my eyes. The outcome was amazing. When I started to lose vision in my right eye (unrelated to anythingshe did), it was she who sent me to the emergency room at the U of M. Turned out that is was the first sign of my Neurosarcoidosis. I was able to recover some of the vision in my right eye because of her quick response. I know Dr. Eston is going to retire soon and that Dr. Lucier will be replacing her. I was in there for a total of two hours. Didn't look busy that I can see. The people are nice there though.
She has been my doctor through all my eye care. I will miss her when she retires. I would trust her to work on my eyes. She has always explains things so well. I have learned a thing or two from her. She will be greatly missed
Dr. Amy Eston is retiring and she should. My appointment with her yesterday was dissapointing to say the least. I left the office in tears because she basically said that my sudden onset blurry vision was just a result of me getting old and that I just had not noticed that my vision was getting bad. She failed to read all the intake information. Had she actually taken the time to read the intake or at least ask all the questions, she would have done her job correctly.
