I find most of the prior comments to be uncalled for. Many doctors are less than warm and fuzzy and most are held to such a tight schedule that gives no time to chit-chat that apparently many patients desire. I have seen Amy Arisco for over four years for bladder cancer treatment and we have, I think, become good friends. During the treatment, I had a bad reaction to a medication and she continues to sympathize and express her sorrow that it happened, though the reaction was not her fault. Dr. Arisco was brusque, in a hurry, asked no questions, made me feel I was wasting her time. She told me I could cut some skin tags off myself, but with no instructions. However, in her written summary, she did give me some information I'd not seen before, and that was helpful.

She could care less about her patients, doesn't listen. Very confrontational when asked questions about treatment.
If I could submit a zero star for this “doctor” I would. Wouldn’t wish my worst enemy a visit with her. The moment she walked into the room she was condescending and as if I was wasting her time. She wasn’t going to do further testing until I pushed with my concerns. Several procedures and a prescription were to be called in and after a week with no follow up or scripts, I called her nurse and was told I would be contacted. Over a month later and still nothing! GO ELSEWHERE! Front desk/Nurses A+

I was very disappointed with Dr. Arisco. She did not address my symptoms. She was "rude" and NON-EMPATHETIC. I will not return.
I would NEVER recommend her. She is the rudest doctor I have ever met. Do not go to her. As an elderly person I was hoping for someone who cared as I have been scared to death after surgery and problems with urinary retention for weeks. I wonder if she is like this to anyone else. I saw her once for about 1 minute (I had a referred appointment with her) and the whole time she stood at the door and chastised me and belittled me. Thankfully I had a witness . I'm reporting her to the state.
