Rude, cold, condescending and uncaring. She spent literally 5 minutes with me after being close to 1/2 hr late. She cut me off when I tried to speak and ask questions or raise concerns. Find another provider - she IS NOT patient centered.
Dr. Arisco sat down for maybe 3 minutes with me. She tried to get up and leave before even asking if I had any questions or giving me a chance to respond to her treatment recommendation. When I inquired about the long term side effects of taking a medication she was prescribing, she kept redirecting and avoiding the question. It was truly a bizarre interaction. This was my first visit with Dr Arisco. She was very pleasant and listened to everything I said. She reviewed my history and gave specific instructions for ongoing treatment. Her experience and knowledge is very evident in how she presents her opinions. She gets right to the point and does not waste time with needless chit chat which is what I prefer from my doctors. Very happy to add her to my growing list of specialists.

I've spent a year trying to find answers to my discomfort. Cat scans, ultra-sounds, lab tests along with every other diagnostic tool until Dr. Arisco ordered an endoscopy. Finally have an answer and another procedure or two should provide me with the "cure" I've been hoping for. The staff at both the Oak Harbor and Mt. Vernon offices were welcoming and helpful and I really appreciate the care that Dr. Arisco is giving me.
From the front desk to the medical Assistants to Dr Arisco, all are friendly, professional, attentive and courteous. Wait times are minimal.
This was the first time I met Dr. Amy Arisco. She was truly professional and sincere about my overall health. Looking forward to my next visit in about a year.
