Bought the SMG to manual transmission conversion kit from AMS. Everything came in a timely manner, by the time I had the transmission out the parts were there. All bmw parts the conversion went smoothly. Great step by step instructions. Derek was super helpful and very responsive. I sent the bell housing in for machine work and it came back promptly. Had Derek remotely program the computer. Great product, great service! I highly recommend AMS
I purchased a 2005 BMW M3 Competition, and after three weeks, I began having SMG issues. I did my research and reached out to Derek at AMS AutoGroup. Got my SMG bellhousing converted to a manual bellhousing with the springs and detents. Was a fast turn around and Derek was extremely helpful with any questions I had when doing the conversion. Couldn't recommend more
I bought a 2005 BMW M3 that had a SMG to manual swap done and I was having a problem where the car would stall when engaging the clutch and coming to a stop. Derek knew right away what was wrong (improper coding). He is very knowledgeable about SMG to manual swap and looked over all the wiring and coding. He will definitely be my go to to work on my M3!! Highly recommend!
