Ampko Heating and Air are used by Fidelity National Home Warranty, and they’re both terrible. Insurance companies are notorious for not covering what they should and contract with companies like Ampko that do work on behalf of the insurance company, not the people using their services. Daniel came out a week ago and never followed up or returned any of my repeated phone calls. I hate to write this but here we are. We used Ampko through our home warranty because our heater stopped working right before Christmas. Well we had Daniel come out a week later which was ok because it’s winter I knew it would take a while well my heater starts working again but still had some issues with it. He came “figured out “ the issue and “resolved “ it so we thought. This is a dangerous company - DO NOT USE I am an 86 year old woman living in Walnut Creek in August. My a/c broke down. I contacted Home Guard whom I have a policy with. Ampko contacted my son who arranged for a service call. Daniel, the rep spoke with my son and told him he would call after the service. Daniel was in my home for less than three minutes. He did not look in the attic (where the problem ended up being), he did not look at my compressor. He did glance at the thermostat which had the error on it which precipitat... read more
Daniel went to evaluate our AC unit thru home warranty. He's very knowledgeable, professional. He even came 1 day early than schedule time. In addition, he submit his findings to home warranty same day. The next day I received a call from him to update me that home warranty will be calling today. 30 mins later, home warranty called. This gentleman is very efficient, precise. Thank you Daniel.
