Parking is terrible. Unless you are super early to your event, you'll have to park several blocks away on the street. On the upside, the venue is spacious and has plenty of restrooms.
Out of all the venues I've played over the years across the country, Amos Southend is top notch. Phil is one of the best sound engineers on the planet. John knows the business inside and out. I will truly miss, and cherish the opportunities I got to play at this amazing venue.
Thank you for some the best times I've ever had... Irreplaceable

The Stevie Wonder impersonator & both MJ'S impersonators were very entertaining!
midget wrestling was fun. I wish they had some kind of seats, because I'm super short and couldn't see a thing from behind. Anyway it's sad it's going to close
Well I went to Purgatory 74 last night mainly to pay my respects to one of the last venues to see a good "in your face" rock show in Charlotte, now that practically everything left is corporate owned. It is still surreal I saw the full Beasties Boys line up here about 8 years ago on a Rock the Vote tour with Sheryl Crow. We'll miss you Amos'!
