2024 - I had a bunion and a detached hammer toe on right foot. Dr. Saxena corrected both in a single surgery (another podiatrist had planned separate surgeries). My shoes fit better than they have in years. In 2 months I returned to hiking and yoga! I am happy with results but will pursue optional surgery to remove the screws! I first saw Dr. Saxena's 15 years ago for torn Achilles tendon, and he has successfully treated my husband and three other friends -----all of us highly recommend Dr. Saxena!
I had a torn ligament in my ankle which Dr Saxena identified after sending me for an MRI. He performed a surgical repair at the Fremont Surgery Center and saw me in a followup appointment 3 days later to remove bandages and check the wound. Recovery is going well so far! He is very knowledgeable and helpful with his advice. I would recommend him for any foot problems you may have.
I have had a great experience with Dr. Saxena. After seeing several other doctors, I chose him to treat my foot, including surgery and shockwave therapy, and I am so glad I did. He has been incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring throughout the process. His entire team, including Chuck and Joanne, has been amazing. They have all been professional, kind, and supportive at every step. I highly recommend Dr. Saxena and his staff to anyone dealing with foot issues.
I had ankle surgery with Dr Saxena in February. For 25 years I’d had repetitive sprains and finally went to have it checked out. He sent me for an MRI first which I appreciated because obviously that was needed. Found ligament damage and bone chips as well as extra bone that was causing some pain. So scheduled surgery which was quite simple. Follow up appointments were scheduled in advance and used Palo Alto Medical for PT which was good.
