STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! We had a horrible experience with this place. The heating system never worked in our unit and they actually shut down the central heating system early in April, which is still cold in Evanston and even with repeated complaint, they do absolutely nothing about that. The entire building is overwhelmed with spiders, while this is a common issue in Evanston, but the building does nothing preventive, so even if you keep the windows closed (the only thing that the management told us to do!), you will con... read more
An apartment search can get overwhelming. After visiting Amli Evanston, I knew I had found my new home thanks to the assistance of Cairah, my leasing agent. We lived at AMLI Evanston for almost 2.5 years, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the very beginning, there were problems. When we applied online, we were shown a unit over video that turned out to be completely different from the one we were actually given. The apartment we moved into was on the second floor facing an alley, with the view almost completely blocked by another old building. We have been so please with our initial move in experience. Eric (the AMLI Rep who helped us out) was friendly, professional, and very helpful. Our unit was spotless and ready for move in. It's only been 24 hours, but so far everything has been perfect!
