I had paid in my L4 and L5 (lower back pain) I moved to Sarasota and went to different pain management, but I was not happy with them tills I made an appointment with Dr. Goel from 2022 . I’m going to have my epidural shots and I’m pain-free. I appreciate Dr. Goel and his staff. Thank you, Doctor.
This Complaint involves Mary, the ARNP(?). My last appointment was on 3/2/26, and I had been going there for approximately one year. In February 2026 I was referred to the Kennedy-White Center, which Mary was aware of. She asked me about it, and I told her I had been there twice already. She then started to become quite angry with me or directing it towards me, but she said nothing about Kennedy-White. I have gone to Dr. Goel for many years and had no problems. I realize now that was because my visits were simple, either an exam or a shot. However, I recently fell and was in excruciating pain. When I went to see Dr. Goel I was crying and scared, never having been in this much pain before and worried about what my prognosis might be. Dr. Goel just told me me to stop crying so he could do his work. In fact, he actually stopped, made a big sigh, and said, “I’ll wait till you stop crying.“ He showed absolutely no empathy! I had knee replacement surgery and back pain issues (related to a chronic issue). Dr Goel is very abrupt in his bedside manner and was not interested in hearing from me. Other than prescribing pain medication (not needed) he failed to take the time to listen or understand my medical issues. I would not recommend him.
Dr. Goel has always taken care of me, I don't see him most times in office but he has always showed up if I need to see him. He keeps me walking!
