I am so thankful for lagrange hospital. i have many chronic invisible illness' so I've been to many ERs due to insurance and locations. but lagrange has so far been the only ER that has been understanding and compassionate when it comes to endometriosis. I put going in to the ER off for 3 days bc I was scared I wouldnt get help so when the help me immediately and didnt doubt me at all. If you ever have to work with their billing department you will know what I mean. They wrongfully coded my order from my doctor and charged me more money than it should have been. Sad thing is BC/BS doesn’t seem to care. Every time I call or my insurance they are blaming my doctors office. I am owed a refund on a $494 x-ray and a $300 plus EKG. They responded once and have never heard back from them again. Very poor customer service!

They are very caring and kind. They make sure all your needs are met. The nurses are very friend and answering a call light is something they do in speedy fashion. Not the mention the food they serve the patients are very good a healthy.

Blows the doors off MacNeal or Machell as I have called it. La Grange is a wonderful place to go for anything they treat you with wonderful caring compassionate total care from the start of your journey to the end of your journey. Clean friendly professional service wonderful customer service highly recommend medical professional staff. I have been going here to see Dr. Hamidani she is now gone. But i have always dealt with billing issues from them. My insurance told me its their receptionists not invoicing correctly. Avoid this place and avoid the head aches of bills. **Follow up** contacted them and no resolution they state they are owed. My insurance contacted them directly so they could file paperwork correctly and was not done. And now they sent it to collections avoid AMITA at all costs they are incompetent.

Amazing staff. This hospital isn't the closest to us but I'm so glad my grandmother went here. Finally her symptoms were taken seriously and were more thoroughly looked into. We discovered she has coronary artery disease and needed surgery and since the moment she has stepped in this hospital she has been taken care of. Literally someone is coming in her room every 20 minutes or so to check up on her. Patients are taken seriously and their voice matters here. Thank you for a wonderful, attentive staff. Asked some questions regarding my mom’s stay as in patient and was disappointed in the attitude I got back. Even tho staff is supposed to check on her every hour, unless you count house keeping as a check, not a nurse or aide in much longer than that. Very bad experience.
