This hospital will steal & throw out your personal effects & then hide behind their admission paperwork to not admit to fault. My spouse was in the hospital a week & between the covid floor and surgery, the staff stole her phone, jewelry, & clothing (they claim it was thrown out). The patient advocate cited admission paperwork & washed her (& the hospital's) hands of any responsibility & basically gave us a big FU. Where else can someone blatantly steal your things & tell you that you're SOL? And I'll bet this pack of jackal... read more

Brought my 81 yr old mother into the er for coughing up blood. They did a chest X-ray and blood work and said everything was fine. They released her and said it was from her warfin blood thinners. Next day she was coughing up big blood clots and took her to a different ER where they diagnosed her with pneumonia after CT scan. I am very disappointed that the pneumonia was caught at her first visit at Lagrange Hospital.

If you are African American don’t go...... I came in with chest pain and difficulty breathing and I waited in the waiting room for over 3 hours. Every white person who came after me was seen almost immediately even for a simple fall. I kept asking why and no one could give me an answer. Very racist hospital and I will never come back.

Business response:

We welcome the opportunity to speak with you and learn more about your experience. If you'd like for our patient advocate to reach out to you to discuss further, please email your contact information to contactus@amitahealth.org.

LaGrange hospital is the best. Each person was kind and helpful through my whole process and the doctor was excellent; I truly felt that I had the best care here. This was my second procedure and I delivered my two babies here 15 years ago. Feeling blessed to have such a wonderful set of professional health care workers. They really care!

Business response:

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We’re glad to hear you had a great experience in our care.

I just got home from the ER. From the moment I walked in I should have gone somewhere else. Check in was easy being 11pm. It was great hearing the two front desk people drop f bombs for my entire wait. I came in for wrist pain. During triage they noticed a fever and elevated heart rate. Nothing crazy but enough to mention it. Never once during my treatment did they treat the fever. Other than a Motrin. No monitors ever. I stated I had a pain level of 8 when resting my wrist and a 10 if moving it. I was given 1 motrin and wai... read more

I am so thankful for lagrange hospital. i have many chronic invisible illness' so I've been to many ERs due to insurance and locations. but lagrange has so far been the only ER that has been understanding and compassionate when it comes to endometriosis. I put going in to the ER off for 3 days bc I was scared I wouldnt get help so when the help me immediately and didnt doubt me at all. It was a huge relief. both times ive had to go there theyve been beyond amazing. Endo pain is invisible and many other hospitals tend to judg... read more
