Dr. Tevar saved my life. I spent a year being bounced from provider to provider. Suffering from infections and pain that couldn’t be explained in a kidney that had been transplanted by another provider. Finally, I met Dr. Tevar and he agreed to take my kidney out for me. Dr Tevar did my Kidney transplant that saved my life. He was my advocate through the complete process and was extremely professional. 5 stars don’t begin to explain his skill and patient commitment. If you can get him on your side you are lucky.
5 stars are not enough to describe the talent of this surgeon. His talent as a surgeon is unbelievable and his concern for his patients is remarkable. He held my hand the night before surgery and left my husband and I with the confidence that we needed. He is a remarkable person who explains everything in terms that are understandable. Dr. Amit Tevar is absolutely phenomenal. He operated on me on July 5, 2022 when I donated my kidney to my father. Dr. Tevar is the definition of a professional and an individual others should emulate. Not only is he professional, but his passion for what he does shines through as well as his compassion for his patients. He is truly the best of the best and Pittsburgh is lucky to have him.
