My fiancé and I purchased new mission style recliner chairs for our three season porch from the Amish Showroom in Coates. Our experience there, in particular compared to other stores we visited, was really top notch. The owner, Eric, was very gracious and extremely helpful during the buying process. Our furniture is handcrafted and very high quality, and we couldn’t be more pleased. If you want high quality furniture at reasonable prices we could not recommend this place more!

We have bought several items over the last 10 years. The craftsmanship far surpasses anything you can buy at any other furniture store including any other Amish furniture stores or available products at franchise stores. Add to that the pricing is better and the service is the best we have ever experienced. We have been able to customize everything, type of wood, stain, hardware, we even got our new stools built to 25 " seat height instead of 24". We loved the construction of our Chairs but we were sent chairs with a stain different from what we selected. We understand there is natural variation in the wood but the color was far too dark, closer to other samples We were not able to get a fair response. The only option offered was to ship at our expense the chairs back and be left with nothing. This offer was only given after considerable negotiation and would have left us out $150 or more and with no chairs.

As we try to be as accurate as possible with the color intensity of our finished product, we do need to have some flexibility with the finished result. As the time of the year (humidity levels) and the length of time the stain has set upon the wood, can and do affect the finished product. These factors all play into the final results. Staff was great, very helpful. They really helped us choose the right stain and style. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, hand made, one of a kind, beautiful furniture. We'll definitely be back.
