I would highly recommend Dr. Amir Mehbod at the twin cities spine center for anyone with back issues. I came in very scared of what I had heard from another MD. Dr. Mehbod explained everything to me and sent me to therapy. If I have nay future back issues I would for sure go back to him! Thank you Dr. Amir Mehbod!
Dr. Mehbod Has done 3 surgery's on my spine 2 in my neck 1 on my lower back and I'm scheduled for back surgery #2 next month. Dr. Mehbod has proven to me that he has the Knowledge and the skill to use that knowledge to help me with my pain. Thank you Dr. Mehbod I would recommend you to anyone. May God bless you.
Dr. Mehbod’s expertise and compassion are a great combination to treat an ailing spine. A referral by a medical professional brought me to his office, and a subsequent spinal fusion followed thereafter. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities, and would not hesitate to recommend him to those in need of his specialty.

Dr. Mehbod appears to be a very skilled surgeon and gets right to the point. He spoke about my diagnosis and his overall assessment plan with ease and confidence. However, he seemed "very put off" that I had already seen one of his colleagues for a first opinion, and a couple of times, instead of explaining something, he stated he agreed with that Dr's assessment as well and referred to those notes. Although Dr. Mehbod did answer all of my questions, I felt rushed, as if he needed to be somewhere else.
Flat out refused to answer my husband or I’s Questions. We had seen his partner and came in for a second opinion. He was rude, greeted us by saying “who recommended you to me?” In a put out manner. Told me to go to my general practitioner when I have a fusion in my neck. Got up and left the appointment. One of the rudest doctors I’ve met.
He has done multiple back surgeries on me. My first surgery I met him the day before the surgery. Be answered all my family and I questions. I like that he actually sit and talks he earned my trust, I knew instantly knew he was going to fix me. The day of surgery my time got moved up. My family had went home. He waited for my family before taking me to surgery. My second surgery was actually 2 surgeries in one.
