I saw Amie for complex PTSD with chronic pain. After spending 1/2 my life trying to get better in therapy, within a year of working with Amie I don’t feel afraid and I’m able to live my best life. She has such a good way of explaining things and she feels like I am talking to a real person. We did EMDR about 6-7 times which helped me a lot also. I would definitely recommend her.
Great experience. I appreciate how she is able to give feedback in a way that I can listen to. I have been to two other therapists and (1) I thought they just kind of nodded their head and said mmmmhmmmm and (2) when they did give me feedback it was kind of abrupt and hard for me to hear. I think because Amie has this genuine-ness about her, that when she gives feedback it just seems softer and easier to hear.

Amie is one of the most caring people that you will meet. She truly cares. She helped me feel better about myself and my situation and see different perspectives that are more helpful to look at. Friends notice a difference in me (in a good way).
We went to Amie for couples therapy. She said that therapy could be quick and could take a while and that it depends on the couple. I will tell you that after 10 sessions we are doing so much better. I am so fortunate to have found Amie.

Amie is a real person. She is interactive and not what you would expect in a regular therapist. She is really nice and gives practical ideas to feel better.
