I have used AMID logistics for years shipping LTL/LCL freight all over the world, and they have been great the entire time. Very easy to work with, very simple process! 5 stars!
I really appreciated the no-frills, straight-forward approach of Amid Logistics. Though the process seems extremely tedious at first, it is actually quite simple, and that is reflected in the clearly written instructions on the website. I'm not entirely sure if what happened was my fault or theirs, so I'm giving them three stars. but if you haven't ever done this process before BEWARE, IT'S INCREDIBLY COMPLICATED. I couldn't get the entire process to work for me to ship from Boston to Spain. AMID was very responsive and their website literally answers every question. But they are a shipping company, they are not equipped to work with customs or anything besides the shipping and really aren't much help besides a couple pages with some information. This was for me the only clear easy way to ship a small amount of personal belongings out of the US by ocean LCL for a reasonable cost. Unfortunately, there are expected unknown destination charges (not related to them) which makes it hard to decide if the cost will be worth it overall. They do provide a great detailed instant quote, with plenty of instructions and information related to minimizing shipping costs.
I first used AMID in 2020 to ship 28 boxes of books, stationary items, and other personal goods, and was incredibly impressed with their professionalism. The team was always responsive, clear in instructions, and truly cared about my needs as a customer. I will be using their services again for my personal goods.
