I first used AMID in 2020 to ship 28 boxes of books, stationary items, and other personal goods, and was incredibly impressed with their professionalism. The team was always responsive, clear in instructions, and truly cared about my needs as a customer. I will be using their services again for my personal goods.
Cannot even begin to share how poor the experience was with AMID Logistics. They are dishonest and unorganized. Although they may initially quote you with a cheaper price to get your interest, they play on hidden costs so that you’ll end up paying just as much as air freight, if not more. Upon arrival of the shipment, I ended up having to pay over $1,000 at the destination—all in costs that were undisclosed by the company. I've used AMID Logistics on several occasions since 2011 to ship small consignments of goods from the US to New Zealand. They have consistently been easy to deal with, provided excellent information and guidance on shipping, and their charges have been modest. Goods have arrived in good condition and on time. My most recent shipment ran into various glitches, and I have been most impressed at AMID's patient willingness to iron them all out. A consistently excellent company!
I used AMID to ship a pallet of personal items from upstate NY to Ireland 11 years ago. I do not have special knowledge of the shipping industry. AMID was very helpful. It went so well that I am going to use their services to repeat the process this summer.
