They are simply the best! Our little Oliver has had the BEST experience with them. We've seen both Dr Saltzman and Dr Lafey and Ursula is normally the vet tech that comes and grabs our sweet boy! EVERY single time we bring him in, I know Oliver is being treated as if he was one of their own pets. The follow up, the care, the explanations, taking late night phone calls to check in on him, just everything- we are so impressed and feel so grateful to have a safe place to take Oliver when he is in need! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!
Best vets in San Diego! Dr. Saltzman is the most caring person and treats all pets as if they were her own. My pet has very special medical issues and for years she has gone above and beyond, always. Very up to date on the most current treatments and medication dosing. I’d drive an hour+ for an appointment with her. I trust her opinion on anything regarding my dog. Love her!
They love my animals as much as I do! Staff works around the clock to help you! My animals give them a 🐾 🐾 🐾 of approval. (I have 3 dogs)

I brought my cat Apollo in for an emergency visit today because he was in terrible pain for days and couldn’t go to the bathroom. My regular vet was booked all week but Amici let me come in right away! I will not be returning to my previous vet after the awesome experience I just had today at Amici. Dr. McIntosh helped Apollo out and now he’s home resting feeling so much better. Very caring and compassionate people there. I will be taking Apollo to Amici from now on.
Amici Pet Hospital provided the absolute best care for my Italian Greyhound for 5 years. Drs. Saltzman, Lafey and Fritz are talented, knowledgeable, and compassionate experts who take time to educate owners about every aspect of their pet. They genuinely care about pets, pet health, and educating owners. Additionally, each vet tech and person working at the desk are patient, informative, professional and friendly. I cannot recommend this practice enough.
The staff, vet techs and veterinarians here are always kind and thorough. My Shiba and I love the services here.
